Sade fans proved that the band's latest release 'Soldier of Love' was long overdue after moving 502,000 copies and pushing the album to the top of the Billboard 200 chart during its debut week. This marks the first time that the group snagged a No.1 album since their 1986 release 'Promise,' which stayed atop the Billboard charts for two consecutive weeks.
Following a 10-year hiatus the group announced their return to the music scene late last year. Their last album 'Lovers Rock' sold over three million units domestically and earned them a Grammy for Best Pop Vocal Album in 2002.
